Zenith Asset Management, LLC, is a privately held real estate and investment holding company headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota—the "Zenith City." Presently, we manage a portfolio of approximately $50 million in asset value, focused on Real Estate, Banking, and Financial Services.
We trace our roots back more than 100 years to the Benjamin F. Schweiger Co., Inc., originally founded in Duluth by Benjamin F. Schweiger, in 1914, as an insurance and real estate brokerage firm.
In 2014, the company was reorganized and renamed Zenith Asset Management, LLC, by Benjamin's grandson, Gene Schweiger, and Benjamin's great-grandson, Aaron Schweiger. Since 2014, we have helped develop or redevelop hundreds of multifamily apartments with our partners and investors. Presently, through our subsidiaries, we are proud to own and, or, manage over 250 multifamily units throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, which makes up the core of our portfolio.
In 2018, Zenith Asset Management, LLC, launched its investment funds focused on equities and alternative investment strategies to compliment our growing real estate portfolio. The equity and alternative investment strategy funds primarily focus on banking and financial services. We invest in the best-in-class companies with strong, proven growth in the underlying asset; large moats; strong free cash flow; low debt ratios; safe, robust, growing dividends; and companies that have monopolistic or oligopolistic market domination. We buy the best companies at a good price; manage the assets well; and let the magic of appreciation and compound growth do the rest. Our strategy at Zenith Asset Management is that simple.
